5 years old children have been learning about the professions. Every
unit begins with a story, and we usually have a little theatre. We are very
good actors and actresses! This time the story was about a girl called Anna who
loses her pram. Oh, no! Poor baby! She asks for help to different people… Well done, kids!!!

you like fruits? We do! Last week the 4 years old children ate some fruity
brochettes made by ourselves. It was a nice and delicious experience, and very
easy to repeat at home!

The eldest children have learnt many things about a fascinating place:
United Kingdom! Specifically, we focused on London, which is an amazing city. We
freaked out with the red buses, the phone cabins, the Big Ben, London Eye, Tower
Bridge… but undoubtedly our favorite are the Royal Guards!

A couple of weeks ago, Javi showed us his spectacular pop-up book about
London. It is a magnificent album with all the monuments in 3D and detailed

Valentina, from Vanesa´s class, had recently travelled to United
Kingdom. So we invited her to explain her trip to Cristina´s group. Her family
kindly made a Powerpoint presentation and she told us all the places they
visited.

Bbbbrrrrr!!!! How cold!!! Undoubtedly, winter is here and the
temperatures are much lower. But this situation isn’t going to erase our smile
and our good mood. On the contrary, we took advantage of the new season and we
decorated our season tree with beautiful snowflakes, snowmen and kids dressed
in winter clothing.

¡¡¡Qué frío!!! Sin duda alguna, ha llegado el invierno y las temperaturas son

Last Friday we had a great experience: the autumn day!!! First, we
started with an English storytelling about a sad and frightened leaf which
didn´t dare to fall down from the tree in autumn. Seasons went by and he met different
characters who encouraged it to dance with the wind. Finally, our little friend
falls down when it has to help a new unexperienced leaf.

pasado viernes hemos tenido una experiencia genial: ¡¡el día del otoño!!!
Primero empezamos con el cuentacuentos en ingles sobre una triste y asustada
hoja que no se atrevía a caerse del árbol en otoño. Las estaciones iban pasando
y fue conociendo diferentes personajes que la animaban a bailar con el viento.
Al final, nuestra pequeña amiga se atreve a caer cuando tiene que ayudar a una
pequeña hoja inexperta.
After this, we participated in different activities and games with our
teachers, and in the afternoon some parents came to school to teach us stories,
more games and workshops. We had a lot of fun and we are looking forward to
repeating the experience!!!

de nosotros se escondía detrás de la puerta y dramatizaba un papel. El resto

We also scoop a pumpkin out to make a scary
Jack-O´Lantern. The teacher cut the top, the eyes, nose and the mouth, but we
emptied the inside. We could observe and touch the seeds and also we tasted the
pumpkin, but I think that we didn´t like very much the flavor…
También vaciamos una Calabaza para hacer un terrorífico Jack-O´Lantern. La profe lo cortó la tapa, los ojos, nariz y boca, pero nosotros vaciamos el interior. Pudimos observar y tocar las semillas y también probar la calabaza, pero creo que no nos gustó mucho su sabor…

Three years old kids started last week studying the parts of the face.
We begin every didactic unit listening to the Captain Jack´s story and singing
its songs, but we also do different games to learn the new vocabulary.

niños de tres años empezaron la semana pasada a estudiar las partes de la cara.
Empezamos cada unidad didáctica escuchando el cuento de Captain Jack y cantando
sus canciones, pero también hacemos diferentes actividades para aprender el
nuevo vocabulario.
We draw different human and “monster” faces on the smart board, choosing
the size (big or small) and the colour (green eyes, blue ears, etc). We also
draw María Alcalaya, the group B teacher. Our drawing looks like her, don´t you
think so?
Dibujamos
diferentes caras humanas y monstruosas en la pizarra digital, escogiendo el
tamaño (grande o pequeño) y el color (ojos verdes, orejas azules, etc). También
dibujamos a María Alcalaya, la tutora del grupo B. Nuestro dibujo se parece
bastante a ella, ¿no creéis?
Some of Sito´s students brought fun toys to study the parts of the body
and we didn´t hesitate to use them. We loved the skeleton puzzle because we are
also studying the Halloween characters (and we are so brave that no one is
scared!). Mrs. Potato was also very useful; we classified each face part with
its drawing and later we play to compose different funny faces with big or
small noses, different colours eyes, etc. Thank for sharing your toys with us!

de los alumnos de Sito nos trajeron divertidos juguetes para estudiar las
partes del cuerpo, y no dudamos en usarlos. Nos encantó el puzzle de esquelero,
ya que también estamos estudiando los personajes de Halloween (¡y somos tan
valientes que a nadie le dan miendo!). La Señora Patata también fue muy
práctica y divertida; clasificamos cada parte de la cara con su dibujo y
después compusimos diferentes caras graciosas con narices grandes o pequeñas,
ojos de distintos colores, etc. ¡Gracias por compartir vuestros juguetes con
nosotros!
Yesterday the five years old children explained to the four years ones
what they have learnt about the human body with their teacher Cristina. It was
a great exhibition where the students talked about the skeleton, the muscles,
some organs, the health… and also they taught us a song and a poem. Here you have the link:

As we have been studying also the parts of the body in English, we
showed our works and taught our younger friends all the vocabulary we know
asking them questions and singing and dancing together a very popular song.

también estuvimos aprendiendo las partes del cuerpo en Inglés, les enseñamos
nuestros trabajos a nuestros amigos más pequeños y todo el vocabulario que
conocemos haciéndoles preguntas y cantando y bailando con ellos una canción muy
