Working the story of "Little Red Riding Hood"

This Friday we are going to see a very funny play called “Red in the Hood”, played by the Face to Face company. All of us know the story of “Little Red Riding Hood”, but this is a new and modern version with a rapper Red Hood which is cleverer than the Big Bad Wolf and it takes place in the city.

Este Viernes vamos a ver una obra teatral muy divertida llamada “Red in the Hood”, representada por la compañía Face to Face. Todos conocemos la historia de “Caperucita Roja”, pero esta es una nueva y moderna versión con una Caperucita Roja rapera que es más lista que el Gran Lobo Feroz y que viven en la ciudad.

With all the materials that this company provides to the teachers, we´ve been working the plot, the vocabulary, the characters and, which we like the best… all the songs!!! They are really groovy and we sing them with a lot of attitude!!!

Con todos los materiales que la compañía proporciona a los profes, hemos estado trabajando el argumento, el vocabulario, los personajes y, lo que más nos gusta… ¡¡¡todas las canciones!!! Son realmente chulas y las cantamos con un montón de estilo.

We have also practiced the dialogues to understand the actors and be able to follow the story. We performed our own play with different actors and actresses in each group.

También hemos practicado los diálogos para entender mejor a los actores y ser capaces de seguir la historia. Hemos dramatizado nuestra propia obra de teatro con diferentes actores y actrices en cada clase.
