Learning about Halloween

The last two weeks we have been working a very popular English festivity… HALLOWEEN!!! We studied in class all the vocabulary and the expressions singing songs and playing different games. Here you have some of them:

Las últimas dos semanas hemos estado trabajando una fiesta inglesa muy conocida… HALLOWEEN!!! Hemos estudiado el vocabulario y las expresiones cantando canciones y jugando diferentes juegos. Aquí tenéis algunos de ellos:

Built the monster´s body	Knock, knock… trick or treat? Some of us hid behind the door, knock it and played a role. The rest had to guess which Halloween character he or she was. Uno de nosotros se escondía detrás de la puerta y dramatizaba un papel. El resto teníamos que adivinar qué personaje de Halloween era.

We also scoop a pumpkin out to make a scary Jack-O´Lantern. The teacher cut the top, the eyes, nose and the mouth, but we emptied the inside. We could observe and touch the seeds and also we tasted the pumpkin, but I think that we didn´t like very much the flavor…

También vaciamos una Calabaza para hacer un terrorífico Jack-O´Lantern. La profe lo cortó la tapa, los ojos, nariz y boca, pero nosotros vaciamos el interior. Pudimos observar y tocar las semillas y también probar la calabaza, pero creo que no nos gustó mucho su sabor…

 

Silvia, the new Preschool assistant, read us two stories about what´s in a witch´s kitchen and the world of the monsters and goblins. And on Halloween Day she brought the teachers these candy´s bag. You are an artist, Silvia, thank you very much!

Silvia, la nueva auxiliar de Infantil, nos leyó dos historias sobre lo que hay en la cocina de una bruja y sobre el mundo de los monstruos. Y el día de Halloween trajo a nuestras profes estas bolsas de caramelos. ¡Eres una artista, Silvia, muchas gracias!
